On July 16, 2024 at the weekly Cordele Lions Club meeting, Lion Tammera Sears was awarded Lion of the Year for the 2023-2024 Lions Club year. Tammera was chosen for this award by the Immediate Past President, Curtis Lucas. This award is presented to the Lion that the president determines to embody all of the principles of Lionism whilst showing extraordinary loyalty to their club.
