On July 17th, just after 4 a.m., our officers responded to an alarm at Cloud Vapor at 1101 E 16th Ave, Suite A. Once on scene, they found a large portion of the storefront glass busted out and merchandise scattered on the ground.
The store owner responded to the business and assisted our officers in obtaining video of the burglary. The store video revealed that three suspects dressed in dark clothing illegally entered the business after breaking the glass out. Once inside, the trio began stealing as many items as possible.
Our officers and Crisp County Deputies began searching the area in an attempt to locate the individuals. One fifteen-year-old juvenile was located and believed to be a suspect after two more hid from officers in the area. Several items, including vape pens, THC gummies, and tobacco products, were recovered. Some of the clothing the suspects wore at the time of the burglary was also located and collected as evidence. The case has since been turned over to Investigations. The juvenile was processed and later transported to the Crisp County Youth Detention Center per the Department of Juvenile Justice’s request.
We want to thank the Crisp County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance in this case, which led to one of the suspects being located. If you have information regarding this case incident, please call the Cordele Police Department Investigations Division at 229-276-2921.
