The Georgia Transportation Investment Act (TIA) announce that the contractors have completed all the major construction on U.S. Hwy 280 widening project. This project extended from the Lake Blackshear bridge to just east of the SR 300 Connector/Old Albany Road intersection. With the project completed the new lanes across this stretch of highway will allow for safer traffic flow and accommodate for any increase of traffic for years to come.
