CORDELE – At approximately 3:00 p.m. this afternoon a person was killed by a Southeast bound train just after it passed through Cordele. The unidentified person was walking along the railroad tracks that run parallel to Hwy 41 when the train struck them just before passing Exa Ave East. Crisp County Sheriff Department is investigating. More information will be released as the investigation continues.
