Crisp County Schools announce new Head Football Coach

Crisp County Schools is proud to announce the appointment of Justin Newman as the new Head Football Coach at Crisp County High School. Coach Newman brings 17 years of coaching experience, as a head coach and assistant coach, most recently serving as the Assistant Head Coach-Defensive Coordinator at G. W. Carver High School in Columbus, Ga., the 2024 State Class 2A Football Champions.
Over the course of Coach Newman’s career, he has demonstrated a deep commitment to player development, a strong work ethic, and an ability to build winning teams. We believe that Coach Newman has the experience, passion and character to continue to build on the proud tradition of our Cougar football program. We look forward to the future under Coach Newman’s leadership and are excited to see what’s in store for our program.
