The first-ever Cordele Rail Fan Festival will begin Saturday at 10 a.m. near the Cordele Historic Museum and the SAM Shortline Depot.

The event will feature Frank Crow of Crow Railroad Art, the Flint River Model Railroad Club, GS&F-T-Trak N Scale Railroading, and the South Georgia Model Railroad Club. There will be plenty of other family-friendly events including a bouncy castle, food and crafts vendors, and other entertainment.

Festival-goers can also tour the new Cordele Railroad Museum and Visitor Center.
