As of Tuesday, September 16 at 6:30 p.m.:

We have continued to work in the Northeast and Southeast areas restoring power to remaining areas including Parker Road, Sirmons Road, Stokes, and Rowell Road.

Power was also restored to North Coney Road, Fenn Road and Ross Crossing Road.

Before end of day we expect to energize Raines Station Road and Arabi-Warwick Road West from Raines Station Road to Highway 300 and Lakeshore Drive from Highway 300 around the point across from the Plant up to a point below Antioch Road.

 Crisp Academy and Buford Hatchery were re-energized.

Crews have been restoring the customers on the section of Scenic Route below Ferry Landing which was energized yesterday and almost all of them should have power by end of day.  They have also continued working down Scenic Route towards North Cedar Creek Road.  It will likely not be energized tonight but should be restored tomorrow.

We have also been restoring power east of Raines Station Road in the Antioch Road area.

The crew repairing the 12 65-foot poles on Highway 300 should have all but two repaired today and should finish tomorrow.

 We continue to get many calls from frustrated customers with questions on why their neighbors have power and they do not.  This is very understandable.  It may be due to the way in which the circuits feed, one side of a street may feed from one line while the opposite side feeds from another line.  If one transformer or service is damaged then those customers will be out even though next door neighbors are energized.  In many cases as we have concentrated on getting main lines and large blocks of customers on we have bypassed small taps or individual customers with problems so that we can continue making major restorations.  We want to assure everyone we will come back and restore all customers but it will take time.
