Kenneth Donovan Howard “Spanky”

Funeral services for Kenneth Donovan Howard , 54, well known as “Spanky”, were held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, June 3, 2018 in the chapel of Hughes & Wright Funeral Home. Raymond Gibbs and Vince Cribb officiated the service, many of “Spanky’s” friends gave memories of their times with him. Eula Jo Sheffied played before and after the service, a CD of “Huntin, Fishin, Lovin Everyday” was played. Pallbearers were: Charles Womack, Gene Christmas, Keith Christmas, Jeff Walker, Rick Hughes, Mike Wilkerson, David Crane and Rob Underwood . Burial followed in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
Ken was born in Waycross, Ga. to Carolyn Albritton Howard and his late father, Homer Donovan Howard. He was a heavy equipment repair and service technician. He later opened his own business, SER Services. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
He is survived by his mother: Carolyn Albritton Howard of Cordele; his brother: Scott (Boni) Howard of Rock Hill, S.C.; his aunts: Judy Hobbs of Cordele, Bobbie Moore of Arabi, Margie Albritton of Cordele and Sara Summerford of Birmingham, Ala.; and his niece and nephew: Georgia Howard and David Howard.
