CORDELE- 61-year-old Cordele resident, Albert Allen, died in a motorcycle accident on Friday, May 4, at approximately 9:14 p.m. He was traveling north on I-75 when he attempted to exit for an unknown reason and ran off the left side of the roadway. The motorcycle traveled approximately 29 feet and struck a road sign support post. After impact, the motorcycle began to overturn and traveled approximately 213 feet before coming to a rest on the east shoulder of I-75. Allen was ejected from the motorcycle and laying approximately 15 feet from the vehicle face down.
