At 3:55 p.m., officers responded to the area of the 700 Block Blackshear Rd in reference to a hit and run accident that occurred at Little Caesar’s. The driver of vehicle #2 followed the vehicle and was able to provide the tag number to police.

At 6:21 p.m., police responded to 108 East 5th Ave in reference to an assault. Shelby Mitchell and James McGlamory were both arrested for battery.

At 2:58 a.m., officers were in the area of 8th Ave and 2nd St investigating a burglary when they observed a subject wearing a blue hoodie walk around the West side of East Side Grocery. An officer pursued the suspect but lost visual on the subject shortly after.

At 11:10 a.m., police responded to 309 East 16th Avenue (Goo Goo Car Wash) in reference to a hit and run accident. The complainant reported that a vehicle had stopped inside the car was and his vehicle struck the stopped vehicle. The vehicle that was struck then fled the scene.

At 10:47 p.m., officers responded to 904 E 16th Ave (Red Dawg Bar) in reference to a disturbance. Robert Arthur Smith, of Folkston GA, and Tabitha Hodges, of Tucker, were both arrested for Disorderly Conduct.
