Crisp County Recreation Basketball continued Monday January 8th with 8 and under action. Game 1 saw the Hurricanes win 10-8 over the Bulldogs. Canes scoring: Barron 1, Lofton 9. Bulldogs scoring: Jones 1, Hillman 1, Denton 4.
In 10 under action the Hurricanes won 24-12 over the Yellow Jackets. Canes scoring: Dennis 2, Daniels 11, Parker 2, and Fox 9. Jackets scoring: Johnson 4, Oliver 2, Pireda 6.
In Tuesday nights 8 and under game, the Wildcats handled the Bulldogs 20-11. Bulldog scoring: Davis 1, Duckworth 2, Jones 2, and Denton 6. Wildcats scoring: Epps 4, Wood 4, Holly 1, Brown 4, Harris 6, Haughabrook 1.
In the 9 and 10 year old game the Wildcats outlasted the Wolfpack 11-10. Pack scoring: Denton 2, Dixon 2, and Johnson 6. Cats scoring: Jordan 4, Hudson 7.
Game 2 action saw the Gators top the Seminoles 12-10. Noles scoring: Smith 2, Ervin 2, Ervin 2, and Coleman 4. Gators scoring Coleman 4, Lawton 2, Clark 4, Walls 2.
Thursday night 12 and under division saw the Tigers defeat the Bruins 20-17. Bruins scoring: Lewis 2, Fox 12, and Sims 3. Tigers scoring: Alexander 7, Walker 2, Smith 2, Dixon 3, Coley 2, Davis 3, Wesley 1.
In the next game, the Yellow Jackets won a close game over the Bulldogs 20-17. Bulldogs scoring: Blanton 4, Johnson 10, Carter 3. Jackets scoring: Armstrong 4, Smith 7, Howell 4, Merrell 5.
In the final game, the Hurricanes defeated the Gators 22-18. Hurricanes scoring: Jones 6, Swinney 12, White 4. Gators scoring: Armstrong 6, Williams 2, Deriso 5, Gordon 2, Harvey 4.
