•On Saturday, December 2 at 9:31 a.m. Cordele Police responded to a call in reference to a lost wallet at Wal-Mart located at 1215 East 16th Ave. Investigators discovered that the victim, 83 year old Mary Jones left her wallet on a bench at the general merchandise exit and walked out of the store. An unknown individual approached the bench just after Jones walked away and took the wallet. The investigation continues.

•On Sunday, December 3 at 5 a.m. Cordele Police responded to a disturbance call at 110 W 14th Ave. Upon Officer Hutchens’ arrival, the complainant 18 year old Nicholas McCormick made a statement that he and another victim, 19 year old Mercedes Trice were involved in a disturbance earlier.
•Cordele Police responded to a call at 7:40 a.m. on Sunday, December 3 in reference to a burglary at Eastside Grocery located at 601 East 8th Ave. Investigation revealed that unknown person(s) entered the building without authority and stole money. Captain Farrow was notified and further investigation has been turned over to him.
•On Sunday, December 3 at 10:01 a.m., Cordele Patrol Officer Benjamin responded to a call at 1008 East 24th Ave. Apt E in reference to a criminal trespass report. The victim was Destiny Beal.
•On Sunday, December 3 at 9:34 a.m., Cordele Patrol Officer Benjamin responded to a call at 18th Ave and 15th St in reference to an animal bite. The victim was 55 year old John Hamilton.
