A former employee is out on bond, after being arrested on 32 counts of computer theft while employed at Ingo Money, Inc. Crisp County Investigators arrested Kimberly Ann Smith, 26, of Cordele on 32 counts of computer theft involving $23,144.24. On 06-14-17, the company’s internal controls identified an anomaly that allowed them to notify Crisp County Investigators of possible theft involving an employee. Smith may have converted funds to her personal use and completed these transactions during her employment. While the company keeps no cash in its facility, it is responsible for computer funds transfer. An investigation is in early stages with the assistance of company management and it will continue until this matter is fully resolved.
