Funeral services for Clarence Neal Cross of Arabi will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 24, 2017 at Bay Spring Baptist Church. The committal service will follow in Bay Spring Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Rainey Family Funeral Services. Clarence, 90, passed away Friday, April 21, 2017 at Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon. He was preceded in death by his wife and son, Geraldine Smith Cross and Clarence Allen Cross; and siblings, Floyd Cross, Frances Denham and Betty Ann Pope. Born in Crisp County, he was the son of the late Otis Wheeler Cross and Minnie Lou Jones Cross. Clarence was a farmer(RET) as well as a retired supervisor with Southern Railroad. Until his declining health, he had been an active member of Bay Spring Baptist Church and on the Board of Deacons, and a member of Crisp County Farm Bureau. Clarence is survived by his daughters, Joyce C. Dry of Macon, Carol C. Hauesler and her husband, Terry and Gail C. Hauesler and her husband, Billy, all of Arabi; five grandchildren and their spouses, Christy Michelle and Jeremy Wiley, Richard Neal and Tonia Dry, Brandon Jason and Anna Hauesler, Christopher Cross Hauesler and Amy Nicole Hauesler; five great-grandchildren, Abigail Marie Hauesler, Ava Claire Hauesler, Alexander Noah Dry, Madelyn Sophia Dry and Catherine Emily Wiley; three brothers, James Otis Cross, John Cross, and Fred Cross; and six sisters, Pat Bergman House, Louise C. Canady, Ruth C. Warren, Reba C. Quinones, Evelyn C. Reeves and Marie C. Shafe. Arrangements are by Rainey Family Funeral Services. An online guestbook is available at www.raineyfuneral.com
