By Joe Joe Wright…..Deputies responded to a shooting on hwy 280 east at approximately 615pm. One white male was shot in the chest and has been life flighted to Macon. Several suspects have been apprehended for questioning. The name of the victim is not being released at this moment to insure notification of next of kin. According to Sheriff Billy Hancock the case is still under investigation at this time.Stay tuned to the Dispatch for further details as they emerge.
