Sheriff Billy Hancock was appointed to the Sheriffs’ Retirement Fund of Georgia and sworn in by Governor Kemp.

Georgia.
The goal of the Fund is to help the Sheriffs of Georgia prepare for retirement and provide them with peace of mind through the receipt of monthly pension benefits once their retirement goal is reached.
The board of trustees that oversees the Georgia Sheriffs’ Retirement Fund is made up of six members, all of which are appointed by the governor.
Sheriff Hancock expresses his gratitude to Governor Kemp for his trust in him. Sheriff Hancock now serves on two State Boards appointed by the Governor.
