This morning, we have received numerous questions regarding the safety of road conditions. It is important to note that any melted snow from yesterday has now frozen, creating potentially hazardous driving conditions that will persist throughout the day. Even as temperatures rise above freezing, shaded areas of the road may still have icy patches. We are currently getting reports of vehicles ending up in ditches. Our dedicated law enforcement officers and wrecker services are diligently working to address these incidents.
We strongly urge individuals to refrain from unnecessary travel and remain at home. If travel is absolutely essential, we recommend leaving early and allowing for extra time to navigate the roads cautiously. Your safety is our top priority, and we appreciate your cooperation in helping to ensure the well-being of everyone.
