I looked these up in Webster’s dictionary. How do you spell choke TENNESSEE. How do you spell hype AUBURN. I would teach you how to spell cupcake schedule as OHIO STATE but Paul Finebaum said” SEC fans might want to hush up awhile.”
My wife a die hard Tennessee fan was all happy happy till about 8:00p.m. Saturday night; all of a sudden “Rocky Top” came tumbling down and crashed on top of “Smokey” the mascot. Now of course my beloved Bulldogs won on the road against an SEC opponent by 17 points but all the bulldog haters say that was not enough, OK whatever. We won with Virginia’s 2nd string quarterback.
Last week I hit right on 3 out of 4 in high school and 14 out of 15 in college which is an overall weekly percentage of (.894) and a year to date of (.823)
This week Crisp County will be hosting Dougherty County and I smell Crisp County’s first win of the season. Nine miles North in Vienna I think the Bobcat’s will bounce back against Central Talbotton and up in Pinehurst Fullington who travels to Christian Creek should win as well. Over in Rochelle Wilcox plays it’s first region game against Lanier and Patriots win. Crisp Academy has homecoming against R.F. Monroe of Tallahassee and I see the Wild cats getting a Win.
This weeks college picks are going to be a little tougher but lets go with Florida State, USC and Oregon all collecting wins. Auburn travels to LSU but should stay home because LSU wins. I see Georgia out lasting South Carolina and Alabama getting revenge on last years loss to Ole Miss. Some easy wins should be Wisconsin, Oklahoma, TCU, Oklahoma State and Arizona. Also Texas AM, Mississippi St. and Boise State should pick up some easy wins. My pick of the week though is Ga Tech traveling to Southbend, Ind. and handing the very over rated Notre Dame a loss. In the pro’s look for the Falcons to lose up in New York against the Giants.
