The inaugural Hope Fest is set to kick off November 9^th and all are welcome. This event is the first in what is hoped to be an annual event in our community. The event is slated to begin at 1pm and continues until 7pm. Thankfully, the food trucks will actually get there by 11am to satiate all the attendees who are hungry and wish to partake in all the delectable food choices available to them. This is sure to be one of the premier events to hit Cordele in a long time. This is a fundraiser for a recovery home that is being built in Vienna. The effort is lead by Peniel Recovery Ministries, and they are doing fine work for the community.

Many businesses have already lined up to take part, and it’s shaping up to be a wonderful time for all who join in. There will be food trucks available, local vendors, children’s activities, and more music than you can shake a stick at.

If you would like to take part directly you are certainly welcome to do so. There is still time for vendors and Churches to come on board and set up a booth if you are so inclined. If you think that you might be enthralled by all the food, churches, local vendors, and children’s activities, well I’ve got news for you. That ain’t all. There will also be plenty of music to fill the air. Live music will be part of the program highlighted by “Pure Breed”. They hit the stage at 6pm and continue to entertain the crowd up until 9pm or when the cows come home, whichever comes first.
