Michael Jackson Poole,45 of Cordele, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at his residence. The son of Mike and Shirley Adams Poole, Bubba as he was known to all, was born in Cordele. He was a heavy equipment operator and contractor in the construction industry. A hard worker, he was the best at his job so when the Northern Lights attracted him he used those talents to gold mine in Alaska and he loved every minute of it. Bubba was all about family and it seemed that he was the glue that held them all together, especially his nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed bow hunting and fishing. He was a member of New Covenant Assembly of God Church. Bubba is survived by three children, Cameran Poole and Christian Poole, both of Cordele and Natalie Ann Strickland (Robert Lacy Epps), of TyTy; his parents, Mike and Shirley Poole of Cordele; a grandson, Robert Lacy Epps, Jr. of TyTy; two sisters, Lawanda Bloodsworth and Christina Gordon, both of Cordele; three nephews, Martin McNulty (Sarah), Owen Parker and Brandon Gordon; two nieces, Emma Joyner and Cassadie Gordon; a great-nephew, Brison McNulty and two great-nieces, Clara McNulty and Bailey McNulty.
