A graveside service for Sara Bullington  Medlock of Cordele will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 29, 2024 at Sunnyside Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service Sunday beginning at 1:00 p.m. until time to depart for the cemetery. Sara, passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at her residence at the age of 80. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudell Medlock; a sister, Emma Ruth Watson; a nephew, Doug Bullington; and a niece, Deborah Rojas. Born in Wilcox County she was the daughter of the late Alton Bullington, Sr. and Myrice Watson Bullington. A gentle and humble soul, Sara always greeted you with a  sweet smile and a kind word. She loved her family and friends. She enjoyed watching TV, especially her soap operas. Sara was a member of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her brother and his wife, Alton, Jr. and Rita Bullington of Cordele; nieces and nephews, Shebra (Jerry) Sanders, Lynn Ramirez, Jennifer Hudson, Bill Watson, and Melinda Sanders; and one great nephew, Declan Ramirez.
