The Cordele Lions Club is proud to announce that it will be sponsoring a Red Cross Blood Drive on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. The event will be held at the Community Room located at 108 15th Avenue, Cordele, GA 31015, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. This blood drive is an opportunity for members of the Cordele community and surrounding areas to make a life-saving contribution. Blood donations are critically important, as they help to ensure that hospitals and medical centers have a steady supply of blood for patients in need, whether it be for surgeries, cancer treatments, or trauma care. The Lions Club is committed to serving our community, and sponsoring this blood drive is one way they can make a significant impact on the health and well-being of our community.

Donors are encouraged to pre-register for an appointment by visiting the Red Cross website or calling 1-800-RED-CROSS. Walk-ins are also welcome, but appointments are recommended to help manage wait times. All blood types are needed, especially O negative, which is the universal donor type and is used in emergencies.
