Adult leaders from Cordele Boy Scout Troop 270 attended the weekly meeting of the Cordele Kiwanis Club on Thursday, July 11.
Meeting with the Kiwanians has been discussed for weeks.  It was initially hoped that our newest Eagle Scouts might come speak to the Club, but they are off at college.  The other boys in the Troop were on family outings.
Scoutmaster John Frost updated the Club members on the Troop’s activities.  He presented Club President William Hurt a Certificate of Appreciation for the club’s support of the local Troop.  Following the presentation, Frost answered questions from the attendees.
Troop 270 was represented by Scoutmaster Frost, Assistant Scoutmaster Britt Brinson, Troop Committee Chair Terry Fennel, Charter Organization Representative David Wade, and Troop Committee Member Brady Atkins.
Cordele Boy Scout Troop 270 is chartered by the Cordele Kiwanis Club.
