Crisp County Sheriff’s Office

Warwick Police Department initiated the pursuit when attempting to stop a black Mercedes for speeding. The pursuit led into Crisp County, where the suspects abandoned their vehicle in a ditch near HWY 33 and Antioch Road. Four individuals were taken into custody a 16-year-old male, two 17-year-old males, and a 19-year-old male.

Authorities have determined that the vehicle is linked to vehicle break-ins that occurred earlier in the day at the Frontage Road Shopping Center. Cordele Police Department is investigating the vehicle break-ins.

Participating agencies include: Crisp County Sheriff’s Office, Warwick Police Department, Turner County Sheriff’s Office, Cordele Police Department, Dooly County Sheriff’s Office, GBI, GSP, MCCD, GSP Aviation, and GA DNR-LED.

This is an on-going investigation with charges pending.
