Barbara was born in Vienna, Ga. to the late Lloyd Samuel Burton and the late Bernice Mixon Burton. She is also preceded in death by brother Roger Burton. Mrs. Grant was a member of Riverview Baptist Church and was a socialite there when able. She was also a TOPS member in Vienna, Ga for many years. Mrs. Grant loved her family, grandchildren and great-grands especially. She was a lady who was crafty, enjoyed her rose garden, and specialized in making cakes for her loved ones on special occasions.

She is survived by her husband: Lin Grant of Cordele; her children: Bill Grant and his wife Lynn of Cochran, Ga. and Margaret Ann Dean and her husband Larry of Opelika, Al.; her siblings: Cecil Burton and his wife Sandra of Doerun, Ga. and Nina Hall of Dublin, Ga.; her grandchildren: Morgan Brown, Courtney Stokes and her husband Drew, Megan Bailey, Cole Grant, Matthew Butler, Andrew Butler, and Jacob Grant; six great-granchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family suggests that memorial contributions in Barbara’s memory may be made to Crisp Regional Hospice 902 E 4th Ave, Cordele, GA 31015.
