CORDELE — At least one person has been airlifted to a Macon hospital following an accident on Old Hwy 3oo.
A late model Honda SUV driven by a Florida woman, was traveling East onto 24th Avenue across Old Albany Road, when she pulled into the pathway of a log truck coming into Cordele on that road.
The log truck struck the SUV on the passenger side and then overturned in front of Agri-AFC, spilling logs onto the yard. The driver of the SUV, whose name has not been released, was extricated from the vehicle and airlifted to a Macon hospital.
