Johnny L. Holt, age 55, of 105 South 6th Street, Vienna, died Sunday, July 19, 2020, at Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele.

Cotton, as he was known by many, was born in Ocilla, Georgia on July 8, 1965.  He had worked at Tyson Foods and loved fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia C. Holt of Vienna; his father, Larry Barnes of Cordele; his sister, Debra Daniels of Cordele; his brother, Randy Clements of Fitzgerald; several nieces and nephews.

Cotton is also survived by his faithful companion, his beloved dog, Deuce.

His mother, Lila Joyce Young Barnes, preceded him in death.

Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, July 22 in Vienna City Cemetery.  Rev. Brian Leverett will officiate.  The service will be live-streamed on the funeral home Facebook page.
