Shooting in Cordele.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation in conjunction with the Cordele Police Department are investigating a shooting that occurred in the early morning hours of Tuesday, March 17, 2020 around 9:45pm.

Officers of the Cordele Police Department responded to Quickmart at 501 West 16th Avenue in reference to someone being shot. The victim was transported to Crisp Regional Hospital. We appreciated the assistance from Crisp County Sheriff’s Office in their response.

As we are still very actively working this investigation, no further details will be released at this time.
