Victim Named in Structure Fire

Cordele Police responded along with Cordele Fire Department on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 around 4:40pm to a residential structure fire that occurred at 310 W. 17th Avenue. 46-year-old female, Laleria Johnson was located inside the residence and was determined to be deceased.

The Fire Marshall was contacted and is assisting with the investigation. An autopsy will be conducted as part of the investigation.
