The Cordele Police Department is  releasing the victims name in the Tuesday morning, January 14, 2020 homicide investigation.  31 year old, Jared Gherefiel of Cordele.  The investigation is still in full swing and no new information will be released at this time as we are still working leads and interviewing subjects.

We will give further updates as soon as we have something we can release that won’t hinder the investigation or prosecution of the case.
