Johnson wins Vienna council runoff

Voters in Vienna chose Henry Johnson to fill the city council seat that is being vacated by outgoing council member Beth English in Tuesday’s runoff election there.
Johnson garnered 232 votes to Ann Stripling’s 191 in the runoff.
In other election news, Cordele native Bo Dorough won the runoff election for Albany mayor. He defeated incumbent Dorothy Hubbard by a tally of 4,072 to 3,527 votes.
