Funeral services for Teresa Diane Renew of Cordele will be at 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Lakeview Baptist Church in Cobb. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service Saturday beginning at 3 p.m. at the church.

Teresa  passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Crisp Regional Hospital.  Born in Atlanta, she was the daughter of Hilda Bradley and the late Harold Gibson. She was also preceded in death by a son, Michael James Walter. She was a homemaker and an active member of Lakeview Baptist Church. She loved the holidays and enjoyed cooking and baking for her family, especially Thanksgiving. She always made sure to prepare each family member’s favorite dish.  At Christmas she enjoyed riding and looking at all the lights. Teresa enjoyed her crafts of crocheting and quilting but her passion in life was her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Renew of Cordele;  two children and their spouses, David and Elizabeth Walter of Jackson and Melissalynn and John Calcaterra of McDonough; her mother, Hilda Bradley of Cobb; six grandchildren, Megan Jenkerson, Jacob Jenkerson, Isaac Jenkerson, Garrett Jenkerson, Abigail Calcaterra and Jonathan Calcaterra; and two sisters and their husbands, Patricia and Michael Bowen of Cobb and Deborah and Heron Harvey of Weeki Watchee, Fla.
