Remains found in Wilcox County

From a press released issued at approximately 9 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19 by Wilcox County Sheriff Robert Rodgers:
“On November 19, 2019 at approximately 3:30 p.m. skeletal remains were found on the side of [U.S.] Hwy 280 east of Pitts in Wilcox County. The remains are believed to be missing person Charles Richard Grimsley Jr. (AKA: Lil Ricky)
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (Region 13 Perry Office ) was contacted to assist the Sheriff’s Office with processing the scene.
Grimsley was reported missing by family members on August 9, 2019. Grimsley had only lived in Wilcox County for a few days before he went missing.
The remains will be sent to the G.B.I. Crime Lab for autopsy. There has been no speculation on the cause of death.”
