Funeral services for Deborah Gail Green of Pitts will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, November 16, 2019 at F.I.S.H. Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Arabi Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service Saturday beginning at 10 a.m.
Deborah, 62, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2019 at her residence. She was born in Crisp County and was the daughter of Marolyn Bailey Whittle and the late Bill H. Green. A graduate of Crisp County High School and Georgia Southwestern College, she taught Special Ed in the Turner County School System for about 20 years. Deborah was a member of FISH Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Laurie Smith and her husband, Bryan and Joshua Wallace, all of Pitts and Cherie Mims of Cordele; her mother and step-father, Marolyn and Billy Whittle of Cordele; a brother, Ricky Green; and eight grandchildren, Brittney Malone, Lauren Malone, Alyia Wallace, William Higdon, Josie Mims, Wesley Clayton, Jordyn Smith and Jared Malone; four great-grandchildren, Lason Lee Mixon, Rosa Faye Duckworth, Milleigh Butler and Micaela Malone; and three nieces, Jess Green, Jessica Drinnon and Crissy Underwood.
