Authorities have released the names of those involved in a Friday-morning shooting incident in Pineview, but GBI Special Agent J.T. Ricketson says investigators are still working to piece together how the incident transpired.
Wilcox County Sheriff Robert Rodgers said his office received a call at approximately 11 a.m. Friday in reference to a shooting at a Commerce St. residence in Pineview. When first responders arrived, they found a brother and sister inside bleeding from gunshot wounds. They learned a third, unrelated, resident had somehow left the scene by vehicle heading toward Taylor Regional Hospital in Hawkinsville for treatment of gunshot wounds.
Ricketson identified the brother and sister as 33-year-old Chris Lee Holley and 34-year-old Felicia Denise Coley. The third subject is 35-year-old Mickey Clark. All three are still receiving treatment for their wounds at Navicent Macon Medical Center.
Rodgers said his agency was able to coordinate with public safety officials in Pulaski County to get Clark off the roadway Friday after the shooting and delivered by Pulaski EMS to Taylor Regional Hospital. He was later transported by helicopter to Navicent Macon Medical Center for treatment. Holley and Coley were transported by helicopter directly from the scene of the shooting to Navicent.
Investigators continue to sort through evidence from the scene of the shooting and interview the three subjects and other witnesses to determine what happened. Check back for more updates to this developing story as more information becomes available.
