A memorial service for Angela Magtelena White of Cordele will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 28, 2019 in the chapel of Rainey Family Funeral Services. The family will greet friends immediately following the service.

Angela, 49, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Crisp Regional Hospital.  Born in Augsburg, Germany, she was the daughter of Darryl Sumner and Erika Fritz Sumner. Angela was a homemaker and a retired spinner in the carpet manufacturing business. She loved her family and her pets and enjoyed cooking and entertaining for others.

She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Alfred White of Cordele; her father, Darryl Sumner of Arabi; five children, Patricia Sumner of Cordele, Charles Smith, Jr. of Austin, Texas, Tonya Smith of Mobile, Ala., Thomas Smith of Fla., and Randy Peacock of Atlanta; three brothers, Daniel Sumner of Kathleen, David Sumner of Cobb, and Eric Sumner of Bamburg, Germany; two sisters, Daniela Smith of Arabi, and Karen Lohl of Germany; six grandchildren; and her best friend, Benny Burnam of Cordele.
