Martha Lucile Rosser Wilkerson, aged 96 passed away on Tuesday, September 10. She was born on June 26, 1923 in McDonough, Henry County, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her father, Austin Robert Rosser, her mother, Rosa Lee Jones Rosser, and her husband, Herbert Taylor Wilkerson to whom she was married 32 years. Martha is survived by her three children: Elaine Parham, Rick Parham, Dan Parham (Leslie). She loved her 6 grandchildren: Laurie Hix (Mike), Natalie Parham, Cody Parham (Julie), Callie Wachman (Corey), Jill Moreau (Nathan), Alison Gopal (Devran), and 4 great grandchildren: Gracie Hix, Tegan Wachman, Ryder Wachman, and Lucy Parham.

Martha was hard-working, ambitious, and a very independent women. After a successful career with the Kroger Corporation in East Point, Georgia, she had an active and fulfilling life with Herb in her retirement years. Everyone loved Martha’s iron skillet fried chicken. There was never a dull moment when Martha was around. She loved telling a joke and would always have family and friend laughing. Martha was a woman of deep faith and knew the Lord.
