Funeral services for Harris G. Satterfield, 71, of Cordele, Ga. will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, August 19, 2019 at Perry Funeral Chapel in Ashburn.  Mr. Satterfield passed away Thursday in Ashburn following an extended illness.  Interment will be private.

The son of the late Claude and Lucille Gibbs Satterfield he was born in Wilcox County, Ga. and a member of The Haw Pond Baptist Church.  Mr. Satterfield was an employee of Carter’s in Cordele, Ga.

Survivors include his wife, Melba Satterfield of Cordele, Ga.; his sons, Scottie (Dawsey) Satterfield of Jerseyville, IL and Keith (Pam) Satterfield of Cordele, Ga.; his sisters, Claudette Braden and Diane Layfield both of Rochelle, Ga.; Six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 10 a.m. until the hour of services at Perry Funeral Chapel.
