What: Georgia DOT crews will be working in Dooly County on concrete slabs and pavement markings on the Interstate 75 southbound exit ramp to Georgia 215 (exit 109) this Friday night, Aug. 2 from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, 2019. To ensure the safety of both the workers and motorists, the exit ramp will be completely closed to traffic while the team is at the site.
Motorists are urged to watch for signage in advance of the closure, and a barricade will be installed at the exit ramp. Drivers should plan on using a different exit from Interstate 75 southbound, with the closest being exit 112 at the Georgia 27 interchange. If motorists go past the Georgia 215 interchange, the next available southbound exit is five miles south at Farmers Market Road, exit 104.
