Davis “Bulloch” Pate passed away at his home in San Francisco, Calif. on May 31, 2019. Bulloch was born in Cordele to the late Cecil Hiram Pate and Jewell Bulloch Pate. He is survived by four nephews and three nieces. They are Neil Wiley of Marietta, Larry Wiley of Lake Sinclair, Sally Landress of Daytona Beach, Fla., Skippy Pate of Macon, Scott Urquhart and Julie Carr, both of Cordele and Amy Rider of Johns Creek.

Bulloch graduated from Cordele High School in 1937 and went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts degree from Emory University in 1958. A United States Air Force veteran, he also worked with National Geographic Magazine in Washington, D.C. and Sunset Magazine in San Franciso, Calif. At the time of his death, Bulloch was enjoying his retirement in San Francisco.
