Funeral services for Ida Kathryn Wade of Cordele will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2019 in the chapel of Rainey Funeral Services.  Burial will follow in Cedar Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service Saturday beginning at 12 noon. Kathryn, 59, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Tift Regional Medical Center.

Born in Cordele, she was the daughter of the late Leonard Ashley Wade and Pallie Mary Wade. Kathryn had a great sense of humor and always had a smile and a word for all that she met. She was a loving mother and always enjoyed her special time with her daughter, Montana. She was a great sister to two brothers and derived a lot of pleasure in the mischievousness that they shared between them. She was a great cook and worked as a kitchen manager in restaurants, the last being Whitneys. Kathryn was a member of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her daughter, Montana Skye Wade of Warwick; two brothers, Kenny Wade and his wife, Linda of Ashburn and Keith Wade of Cordele; and many loving nieces and nephews.
