CORDELE – Memorial Services for Sharon Lynn Passmore, 69, will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 25, 2019 in the chapel of Hughes & Wright Funeral Home. Mrs. Passmore died at the Crisp Regional Hospital Wednesday morning, May 22, 2019.

She was born in Cordele, Ga. to the late Ernest Opel Griffin and the late Alice Genelle Harper Griffin. She is also preceded in death by a son, Johnny Brown, and a step-son, Chad Passmore.

Sharon was a retired wiring supervisor for Marvair. She enjoyed playing softball in her younger years. Her family was foremost in her life. She enjoyed cooking for her family and jewelry crafts with her grandchildren. She was a Baptist.

Survivors include her husband: Ronnie Passmore of Arabi; her sons, William “Bo” Stuard (Denise) Brown of Leesburg and Andy Dewitt (Rene) Brown of Arabi; her daughter-in-law, Gina Brown of Leesburg; her step-daughter, Michelle (Chase) Sims of Arabi; her siblings David (Gina) Griffin of Albany, Jody (Belinda) Griffin of Cordele and Ellen (Al) Penny of Cordele; her nine grandchildren: Halle Brown, Ellah Brown, Brody Brown, Jared Brown, Ty Brown, Deanna Brown, Bella Brown, Chance Richter, Julia Owen and Hannah Sims; and a dear and close friend, Judy Brown, who was actually more like a sister.
