Kathleen Royal Hoagland, age 94, died Sunday, May 12, 2019, at Crisp Regional Nursing & Rehab in Cordele.
Born in Nashville, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Noah Gaskins and Maudell Hornage Gaskins. She worked for many years as a sectionizer at a juice plant in Florida and later as a cook at Hardee’s. She was a member of Evergreen Church. Her husbands, John Wesley Royal and Henry Hoagland, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her sons, George Royal (Gloria) of Lilly and Alvin Royal (Thelma) of Baton Rouge, La.; her daughter, Lillian Royal of Fort Myers, Fla.; her sister, Alma Sumners of Brunswick; 4 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 16 in Lilly Cemetery. Rev. Hall W. Grimmett, Jr. will officiate.
The family will greet friends 5 – 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 15 at the funeral home.
