The Crisp County High School Cougar tennis teams continued region play this week with matches against Cook and Monroe.

On Tuesday, Crisp traveled to Adel for matches with Cook County. The Crisp boys continued their region winning streak with a 5-0 sweep, while the Crisp County girls fought hard but fell just short 2-3.

In a double header hosting Monroe High on Wednesday, March 13, the Crisp boys and girls both won each of their two matches 5-0 and 5-0 on the day.

The Cougar tennis teams will play home matches next week against region opponent Worth County on Tuesday afternoon, followed by a match against powerhouse Stratford Academy on Wednesday, with both set to start at 4 p.m.

The CCHS tennis boosters and players are having a 50/50 fundraiser and selling tickets until March 20. The winner will be drawn at the Stratford home match. There is an error on the tickets as the winner DOES NOT have to be present to win. See a tennis player, booster member, or coach for ticket.
