Catherine Davis Krause of Warwick passed away Sunday, February 24, 2019. She was born in Albany and was the daughter of Robert and Peggie Davis. Cathy graduated from Crisp County High School and received a degree in early childhood education from Georgia Southwestern State University in Americus.

Cathy taught for many years in the Crisp County School System and at Crisp Academy. She also worked at Crisp Regional Hospital in administration and was a member of Warwick United Methodist Church. In addition to her love for nature and exploring the outdoors, she was an avid fan of the musical group Widespread Panic.

Cathy is survived by her two children, Jackson Davis Krause and Robert Hooks Krause of Warwick; her parents, Robert and Peggie Davis of Lake Blackshear; a sister, Margaret Patrick; a brother, Robert Davis, Jr.; and an aunt and uncle, Bruce and Janice Calhoun. She was also survived by several nieces and nephews, Morgan Davis, Banks Davis, Will Patrick and Victoria Stubbs and her husband Steven, and their son, Hardy. Cathy will sincerely be missed by all her family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Warwick Methodist Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1 p.m. in the social hall of Warwick United Methodist Church. Arrangements are by Rainey Family Funeral Services.
