School board finalizes superintendent’s contract

Incoming Crisp County School Superintendent Cindy Hughes will be paid $165,000 a year over the next three years, according to the contract that was adopted at Tuesday’s meeting of the Crisp County Board of Education.
The contract was not passed unanimously. Scott Forehand and Justin Posey were opposed to the measure, while members Lydia Adkins, Charles Kerr, and LeLee Phinney were in favor of the contract along with Chairman Lonnie Nelms.
