Mr. Charles Wayne “Bo” Motley

BONIFAY, FL. — Mr. Charles Wayne “Bo” Motley of Hwy 177, Bonifay, Florida went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 5, 2015. He was 79.
Funeral services were held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 8, 2015, in the Carmel Assembly of God Church in Bonifay, Florida with Rev. Jerry Moore officiating. Mr. Motley was placed into the church one hour prior to service time. Burial followed in the Union Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva, AL directing. The family received friends at the church on Monday, December 7, 2015, from 6 until 8 p.m.
Bo was born December 16, 1935, in Walton County, Florida to the late Lester Lee and Ila Beatrice Davis Motley. He was affectionately known as “the Mayor of New Hope” in Holmes County. If Bo was your friend, you had a friend for life; he just simply loved people. He was a very loving husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Bo attended Carmel Assembly of God Church.
In addition to his parents, a son, T. J. Ellenburg, a sister-in-law, Linda Motley and a grandson, J.P. Baxley, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita Motley of Bonifay, FL; three daughters: Melinda Newberry (Brian) of Leesburg, GA, Sheila Kimbrell (Mike) of Cobb, GA; Crystal Baxley (James) of Bonifay, FL; one son, Thomas Lynn Ellenburg (Stacy) of Panama City, FL; grandchildren: Tara, Andrea and Rachel Newberry, Shanna Kennedy (Nick), Jered Kimbrell (Melissa Howard), Evan Ellenburg (Jennifer), Ale Ellenburg, J.D. Ellenburg and JacobTyler Ellenburg; great-grandchildren: Alexis and Ayden Ellenburg, Conner and Jack Kennedy, Jace and Georgia Kimbrell; one sister: Faye Bauman (Bill) of Geneva, AL; one brother, Larry Motley of Westville, FL; several nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.
