The Cordele-Crisp Chamber of Commerce and Cordele Main Street are getting ready for Small Business Saturday on
November 24. Occurring between Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Small Business Saturday is an annual holiday
shopping tradition that promotes independent small businesses as a fun and often nostalgic option for holiday
shopping.

The UGA Small Business Development Center will do its part to help prepare Georgia’s small businesses for the big
day, too. The center’s social media channels will be full of advice and tips for managing a successful holiday shopping
campaign. Just follow #UGAShopsSmall to learn what steps can make this holiday season profitable and enjoyable!

Monica Simmons, President of The Cordele-Crisp Chamber of Commerce says, “We are excited for the opportunity
to support and promote local small businesses in our community. We love to celebrate our local small businesses
on this special date.” The Chamber continues to promote businesses all throughout the year. The Chamber is
located at 502 South 2nd Avenue.

“Our downtown is the heart of the community. We encourage everyone to join us to #ShopSmall on Saturday,
November 24 th ” says Monica Mitchell, Executive Director of Cordele Main Street. The Main Street office is located
on 9th Avenue East adjacent to Historic SAM Shortline Train Depot.
