Sadly, we announce the passing of, age 44, who left us on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at his brother’s home in Leesburg, Georgia. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 17, 2025, in the chapel of Hughes & Wright Funeral Home. The family invites friends to join them for an hour of visitation before the service.

Andy was born in Cordele, Georgia, to the late William Stuard Brown, Sr. and Sharon Lynn Griffin Brown. He was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Ray Brown. A true outdoorsman at heart, Andy thrived in nature, whether he was crafting beautiful landscapes as landscaper, casting a line while fishing, or simply soaking up the sun. Those who knew him can attest to his zest for life and his unwavering love for his son.

He is survived by his cherished son, Brody Dewitt Brown of Arabi, Georgia; his brother, William S. Brown, Jr. and his wife, Denise, of Leesburg, Georgia; and his beloved nieces and nephews: Halle Bristol Brown, Ellah Rae Brown, Ty Brown, Jared Brown, Deanna Brown, and Isabella Brown.
