Students at South Georgia Technical College’s Crisp County Center recently took part in a career planning workshop featuring Focus2 Career, a self-guided online platform designed to help students explore career options and plan their educational paths.

Led by SGTC Retention and Coaching Specialist Charlene Williams, the session introduced students to the platform’s tools and provided step-by-step instructions on how to set up accounts and begin using its features. The Focus2 Career system allows students to assess their strengths, research occupations, and make informed decisions about their future—all accessible via smartphones, tablets, or computers.

The workshop emphasized the importance of proactive planning and encouraged students to take control of their career development using the tools available to them.

South Georgia Technical College offers a variety of career-readiness workshops and resources to help students prepare for successful futures. With more than 200 programs in high-demand fields, SGTC provides cutting-edge education and hands-on training aligned with workforce needs.
